The Process Begins with Your Initial Consultation!
At your initial consultation, you will meet our team, receive a complete initial exam, and discuss which treatment options will best meet your needs. Here’s what to expect:
- We will review your dental and medical history
- Perform a complete oral examination (with X-rays)
- Help you create a treatment plan
- Discuss financial information, insurance, and payment plan options
What Happens After the Initial Consultation?
After your consultation, we will schedule your first appointment and our orthodontic team will place your new orthodontic appliance. This appointment takes about an hour, and during this time our team will be available to make sure you are as comfortable as possible
Scheduling Future Appointments
Scheduling appointments about every four to eight weeks is an essential part of orthodontic treatment. When scheduling your appointments, please let us know which days/times work best for you.
If you’re running late or need to reschedule, just let us know and we will do what we can to best accommodate you.
Visiting the Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment
It is important that you continue to visit your dentist once every 6 months for cleanings and checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If any extra dental care is required, we’ll be happy to coordinate with your dentist to make sure you receive the best care possible.
